General Purpose

This position will involve detailed cleaning in a Production Clean Room / Laboratory environment. The Applicant will be required to have a minimum of 2 years-experience in cleaning a Clean Room, Laboratory environment, or similar[CB1] . The Applicant must have thorough knowledge of Cleaning and Sanitation chemicals and procedures. Experience in cleaning Hospital Operating Room and Lab experience is preferred. The job is a 40 hour a week position with possible overtime required. The applicant must have reliable transportation. Due to the importance of this position, the ability to respond to emergencies outside of normal operating hours will be crucial. Personnel will be required to wear full gown out materials while[CB2] in cleanrooms.

Major Areas of Responsibility

• Perform cleaning operations using strict procedural guideline. Continually monitor the cleanroom for adherence to cleaning procedures to ensure all cleaning activities are completed promptly and correctly.
• Responsible for participating in continuous training: Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) training, technical skills, safety, performance improvement.
• -Use of Good Documentation Practices (GDPs) to ensure legible and accurate cleaning documentation.
• Micro-cleaning all surfaces within the controlled environment including ceilings, walls, equipment and floors.
• The ability to follow standard operating procedures in precise detail including documentation.
• Identify deviations in cleaning and follow through on corrective and preventative actions (variances).
• Review change to cGMP documentation and re-train self/others.
• Assist in the cross training of other Controlled Contamination Services personnel.
• Report all damage to customer property, suspicious activities and unsafe conditions within work area to supervisor.
• Other relevant duties as assigned by management.

Education Requirements

The Applicant must have a High School Diploma; some College is preferred.

Skills

The applicant must have good communication skills. The Applicant will be required to understand and comply with Standard Operating Procedures for cleaning a Clean Room Environment. Good Organizational Skills are required for Scheduling and Inventory Control.

Prerequisites

The Applicant will be required to pass a Background Check, Physical and Drug Test prior to employment.
