Hybrid Work Schedule

I. Job Summary Responsible for support of all biogas marketing and development functions.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

  • Connects area stakeholders and WMRE in discussions around potential projects and Environmental Markets.
  • Responsible for coordinating high level meetings with WMRE leadership and WMRE vendors, tracks outcomes and actions required to drive business growth.
  • Maintains annual WMRE sustainability report, tracks utilized LFG GHG emissions reduction by site as part of the broader WM sustainability report.
  • Supports RFS, LCFS, and CFP credit sales. Manage/oversee credit delivery and invoicing.
  • Daily communication with brokers for market information and deal execution.
  • Update RFS, LCFS, CFP program registrations as necessary, i.e. changes at RNG plants, addition of new fueling stations, etc. Coordinate updates with business and compliance stakeholders.
  • Refine RNG data collection and management processes to reduce error potential and time required.
  • Tracks industry growth and development of the RNG market, emerging regulations, and external projects. Provides analysis to WMRE leadership on the CNG/LNG transportation market trends in the US.
  • Assists Sr. Manager – Renewable Fuels Marketing & Trading with ad hoc requests to support development, engineering and construction of various projects.

IV. Qualifications

A. Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Must have excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Must have advanced capabilities in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Basic understanding of natural gas quality specifications.
  • Must be able to communicate at a leadership level.
  • Some travel may be required. Must be able to travel overnight if need
