(JIC) offers design and development for press dies, auto body components design proposals and other tools that are absolutely necessary for the mass production of vehicle components. We are actively seeking an experienced EHS Coordinator to join our team! This position will be assigned to 2nd shift: (core schedule Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm)
Job Position and Duties May Include:
- Supervise programs to ensure safe working conditions for associates
- Develop, implement and monitor safety training and ergonomics programs
- Coordinate and conduct post-incident investigations
- Determine Root Cause Analysis from post-incident investigations
- Coordinate with appropriate persons to develop countermeasures for incidents
- Maintain safety training records
- Champion hourly Associate Safety Committee
- Assist with Workers' Compensation claims and compliance
- Assist with OSHA recordkeeping, inspections, and compliance
- Conduct periodic safety and environmental training, such as: Lockout, Hazcom, Emergency Preparedness, Environmental Awareness, etc.
- Develop, implement and monitor records for Environmental, Safety and Emergency Preparedness
- Conduct routine audits for environmental and safety compliance
- Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MDS)
- Other duties as assigned

- Previous safety experience in an manufacturing environment, preferred
- Ability to repeatedly bend, stoop and twist throughout shift
- Ability and willingness to work overtime as required to meet business objectives

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to establish relations for effective collaboration with various stakeholders to identify and remediate safety issues
