Equipment Manager – Men’s & Women’s Basketball

Job Summary

This position is accountable for the procurement, maintenance, issuing and accountability of all equipment and clothing needs of the assigned athletic teams and/or other units within the Athletic department.

What You’d Be Responsible For

  • Place orders and outfit teams
  • Maintain accurate inventory and accounting of all items in accordance with Church, University, and NCAA audit standards
  • Negotiate with vendors and manufacturers
  • Outsource logo-ing of gear
  • Understand team and student-athletes equipment/gear needs
  • Daily equipment care for assigned teams
  • Supervise student employees

What Qualifies You to Apply?

  • High school diploma and 1 year of related experience in equipment management or college athletics OR equivalent combination of education/experience

Work Location: Provo Campus

Environment: Periodic exposure to unfavorable conditions. Need to be in variable temperatures or wet environments, etc.

Physical Exam Required: Y

Physical Exam Details: Receiving shipments, moving things to/from storage rooms (50-100 lbs.) 20 minutes At least 2 times a day Laundry and cleaning chemicals 30-60 minutes At least once a day Rubber gloves Activities outside 30-60 minutes 1-3 times a day Weather-appropriate clothing

Pay Level: DOQ
