What We Are Looking For:

Woodland Heights Medical Center Emergency Room is now hiring a full-time Registered Nurse to work in our thriving 149-bed acute care hospital. Our Emergency Department has 9 ER rooms and 4 Fast Track rooms, focused on providing a high level of direct and individualized care to treat critically ill patients with a variety of life-threatening medical, cardiovascular, neurological, and surgical needs.

Which Qualifications Do You Need? In order to set you up for success, you need the basics of…

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing/ Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Certified as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
• Also you must have current BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Familiarity with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures
• 2 years experience in an ER preferred (MED/SURG experience will be considered)

Department Specifics:

• Shift Schedule: PRN (Days/Nights)
• 4:1 patient to RN ratio
• Stroke, Chest Pain, Level IV Trauma Certified
• Roughly 25,000 patients a year seen in our ED
