This is a 100% remote position based remote anywhere in the US or Puerto Rico.

Our client, an established company with a 25+ year track record in delivering customized ERP solutions with 150+ employees and 25MM+ in revenue and is looking for an ERP Software Developer to design, develop, document, test, and troubleshoot new and existing Microsoft AX or D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management software systems and/or applications for our client implementations. You will deliver high-quality products and services following standard SDLC processes throughout the design, development, deployment, and production phases of ERP solutions. Thanks to your deep experience in Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management - or previous versions of Dynamics AX - and your communication and teamwork skills, facilitating the adoption and integration of ERP systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, document, test, and debug new modules and extensions in D365 F&SCM or AX
• Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements
• Support the functional consultant in tracing during the development lifecycle
• Collaborate with the client's IT technical resources during system deployments and troubleshooting production support requests
• Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation

Technical Skillset

• Knowledge of the programming language X++ is required
• Knowledge of programming languages, including C#, VB.NET, and TSQL is a plus
• Experience on Microsoft Azure Stack (specifically Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, and Event Grids) is a plus
• Deep technical knowledge of the system architecture of D365 F&SCM or AX
• Experience in the design, documentation, and implementation of Microsoft D365 F&SCM or AX customizations and enhancements
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Experience interfacing with client IT technical teams throughout the SDLC stages
• Experience or professional knowledge of IT networks, MS Windows Server, and MS SQL database is a plus

Required General Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in ERP or Microsoft D365 / AX ERP software development
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Certifications are a plus
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft software development methodologies and best practices
• Understanding of Quality Assurance and Testing Principles.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, database, and infrastructure concepts for ERP deployment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Flexible during times of change, and deadline proximities.
• Able to function equally as well independently or as part of a larger implementation team.
• Knowledge of problem analysis, structured analysis, and design and programming techniques. A good grounding in development best practice skills, including requirements definition, analysis, design, testing, implementation, documentation, and support.
• Ability to perform detailed data analysis (i.e. determine the structure, content, and quality of the data through examination of source systems and data samples)
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
• Ability and willingness to perform light, occasional travel within the US, Puerto Rico, and the Caribbean.
