Our client, a surveillance and access control technology company, is looking to hire an estimator who is experienced with Camera Surveillance systems. Job Description

• Be familiar with security and camera systems
• Be familiar with Camera installation work and terminology.
• Identify deficiencies in drawings and generate pricing to cover for them.
• Understand the need for Evaluate team’s scope clarifications, Draft/edit scope clarifications as needed.
• Develop quantity-based estimates from partial information.
• Develop estimates based on partial information, including generating pipe takeoffs from Plot plans
• Monitor the scope of the project to ensure that all trades have been coordinated and a complete project is being offered.
• Ensure that estimates are generated in a way that allows takeoffs and pricing to be traced directly back to a defining document.
• Participate in constructability reviews and cost saving enhancement discussions.
• Organize the estimate in a manner required to meet the needs of the project.
• Lead the effort to generate an appropriately detailed resource loaded preliminary schedule.
• Write execution plans to undertake the project work.
• Understand the principals of project cash flow and develop project milestone billing schedules and cash flow diagrams.
• Develop risk ranging analysis for elements of the project and use that to assign contingency.
• Constructability assessments e.g. installation access, man-lifts, scaffolding, cranes, etc.
• Maintain and issue Change Orders

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
