Job description
Conduct custodial and housekeeping services for assigned clinical and administrative office areas such as daily disinfecting and cleaning of areas. Specific assignments include: making beds; replenishing linen; vacuuming carpets; sweeping and mopping of floors; emptying wastebaskets; washing, drying and folding of laundry; replacing soap and toiletry products; and waste disposal. Ensures use of appropriate cleaning agents, such as antibacterial soaps, to adequately disinfect areas where bacteria may form. Demonstrates effective business communication skills and maintains positive interpersonal skills. Completes inspection of building and grounds to ensure they are meeting SHS guidelines and standards and will clean areas that are not meeting standards.1 year related experience or equivalency.
