The Event Marketing Specialist is responsible for implementing exceptional BDO-branded live and online event interactions for our clients, contacts and prospects as well as monitoring related activities with firm and account teams’ business and go-to-market strategies.

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or another related field, required
Experience:
- Three (3) or more years of Marketing / Event Planning experience, required
- One (1) or more years of experience working in the Accounting, Financial Consulting, Business Advisory and/or Banking Industries, preferred
Software:
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, required
- CRM experience, preferred
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Planning, managing and coordinating skills
- Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a team environment
- Ability to work in a demanding, deadline-driven environment with a customer service focus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to present during planning meetings with key stakeholders
- Organizational and project management skills
- Active listener and interpreter enabling him/her to transform the client’s thoughts into reality
- Ability to understand the context of the event and the type of guests attending
- Experience planning budgets, negotiating and communicating with clients
- Critical thinker and problem solver
- May travel up to 20%, as needed
