Job Description


The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing executive-level support to the VP of Apparel, Director of Merchandising & Design, and National Sales Manager of Apparel, as well as managing a wide range of administrative and office management tasks to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency for all functions of the apparel department.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS-

  • Provide executive-level support to the VP of Apparel, including calendar management, expense reporting, travel arrangements, industry research and special projects.
  • Organize, prioritize and manage communication and daily flow of information.
  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments and keep VP calendar and schedule updated.
  • Maintain Apparel Showroom schedule and follow up on maintenance needs.
  • Receive invoices and review for accuracy.
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports.
  • Coordinate staff travel arrangement with Travel department.
  • Maintain and order department supplies.
  • Help to troubleshoot IT issues with IT team.
  • Research and Create Power Point presentations.
  • Maintain computer and manual filing systems.
  • Collaborate with other Executive Assistants, internal departments and third-party vendors respective to the VP’s needs.
  • Anticipate the needs of a busy Executive and support day to day departmental operations including managing team calendars, projects and workflow to ensure timeliness of meetings and awareness of current priorities.
  • Learn company reports, their meaning, and how to look up information to help provide research support.
  • Onboard new team members and work closely with the hiring manager and departments such as HR/Recruiting/IT to ensure proper set up prior to their arrival.

JOB REQUIREMENTS-

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Data entry experience.
  • Excellent follow-up skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE-

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience performing administrate type duties in a corporate environment
  • Two or more years of full-time experience in footwear or apparel industry preferred.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Adobe Reader, Concur, Kronos, and FileNet experience preferred

The salary range for this position is $67,000 - $90,000/year.
