Job description
- Walk entire Extrusion area to determine which machines will Doff off on the current shift
- Locate and arrange yarn pin trucks for doff
- Locate yarn tubes and place on trucks
- Walk lines and place yard ID labels on each running winder
- Doff yarn from winder to pin truck
- Push full trucks to scales, weigh and move to appropriate location
- Burn waste yarn as needed
- Collect and bale waste as needed
- Sweep and clean work area and leave in good condition for next shift
- Follow good safety practices at all times
- All work must be started and completed on a timely basis as instructed by supervisor and doff horn
- Doffer must complete all doffs even if they extend into next shift
- Perform all other duties as directed by supervisor
