JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: F&B Lead Cashier

Reports to: F&B Operations Manager

Department: Food & Beverage

Classification: Seasonal FT/PT

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

GENERAL PURPOSE:

• Assist all other cashiers with drawer maintenance and responsibilities.
• Sells food, beverages, snacks, and provides information as needed.
• Responsible for keeping customer area cleaned.
• Responsible for keeping condiment area stocked.
• Keeps customer area within reasonable proximity clean and organized.
• Help all cashiers with end of day reports and close outs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for counting drawers and assigning cashiers to registers
• Operate cash register to record all transactions.
• Morning: overseeing all beverage operations.
• Able to work well in a fast paced work environment while maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Closer - responsible for overseeing all closing duties.
• Great guest service skills

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

• Overseeing restocking and general maintenance of the cashiers area
• Keeping condiments and self-serve dispensers stocked and cleaned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY:

• Computer experience and/ or willingness to learn
• Basic understanding of food preparation and menu
• Cash handling skills
• Knowledge of basic reports

EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING:

• High school diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

• Computer experience preferred

MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:

• Point of Sale terminal

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

• POS terminal
• Miscellaneous food preparation and storage equipment
