True West Beef in Jerome, Idaho is hiring a Control Room Operator for the Fabrication Team. The Control Room Operator will be responsible for printing all the labels for the company, along with maintaining inventory, operating, and monitoring computers and scales.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate scale and print system
• Print off labels daily to match production; ensure that labels printed are accurate; edit labels when necessary; create label formats as needed
• Perform recordkeeping of inventory to ensure items are being ordered on time
• Assist with boxes and re-weights, troubleshooting errors when they occur
• Change out label rolls when needed
• Assist with scale failures and troubleshoot when necessary
• Maintain a positive attendance record by demonstrating consistent and punctual attendance on a regular basis
• Perform other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to read and write English proficiently as well as communicate well with others
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft applications and other related programs
• Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs or more

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

• Experience operating scales and/or tracking inventory preferred
