Scope of Responsibility:

General upkeep and sanitation of shops, break rooms, offices and grounds in order to allow production to flow without interruption.

Essential Duties:

• Keeping production floor and grounds free of metal shavings, trash and other debris, while maintaining awareness of ongoing production
• Working in conjunction with production to keep work areas, break rooms and restrooms clean and make sure trash is emptied
• Keeps water and Gatorade supplied to the shop and maintains cleanliness of containers
• Responsible for all sanitation requirements in the facility
• Additional duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
• Standing and bending for long periods of time
• Must be aware of your surroundings at all times
• Must follow safe working procedures and wear proper safety gear at all times
• Must be able to work in an outside manufacturing environment for long shifts, including overtime if needed.
• Position requires manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness and a safety-minded individual.
• Must be able to work in an open environment exposed to extreme temperatures.
• Must have the ability to concentrate on tasks for long periods of time and be able to observe and receive information from all relevant sources.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving entire body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, bending, twisting and handling of materials.
