ACRS seeks a part-time, evening Facilities Technician who can performsecurity and custodial related duties and, under general provision, a variety of routine maintenance jobs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical or related Facilities work while maintaining a focus on the safety of ACRS staff, clients, and property.

***Schedule: Mon Fri, 4pm - 6pm (hours can be expanded as the agency works on opening later)

Pay range is between $19.54 to $21.36 per hour.Can increase based on experience with possible increases after 6 months from date of hire.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Provides any needed Facilities assistance to employees, clients and visitors, following established department procedures, including event set up and break down per the Facilities Manager direction or via the work request online system. Reports all needed repairs and safety hazards to the Facilities Manager and assists in any necessary follow-up. Performs custodial duties such as building disinfection as needed.
• Drives staff or clients to public transportation stations, Provides directions upon request.
• Performs security patrols in building and throughout ACRS grounds and parking areas; Notifies Facilities Manager and possibly emergency services of any theft, sabotage, fire or accidents; locks and checks all doors and windows at closing; maintains with local police, fire and emergency agencies until the Facilities Manager or Administrative Team Management arrives in case of emergency situations.
• Investigates and writes reports on accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, safety and fire hazards and other security related situation. Communicates these to the Facilities Manager and responds to situation within the safest means (direct involvement or intervention in dangerous situations is not expected nor encouraged).
• Monitors electronic surveillance and alarm systems.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
