An International Food Manufacturing Company is looking for a Facility/Machinery Maintenance Technician for their New Jersey facility.

The Facility/Machinery Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the facility and manufacturing machines. Ensuring a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain property and building to ensure they are in good working condition
• Maintaining, trouble shooting, and repairing faculty machinery, equipment and parts daily basis
• Preform emergency repairs on various machines, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic
• Locate sources of problems by observing devises in operation and resolve problems in timely manner
• Read and comply to work orders
• Preform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC system
• Clean and assist with the upkeep of the facility such as painting, snow removal, plumbing, wiring, welding, and drilling
• Preform general repairs by using a variety of power and hand tools
• Work effectively with others in a loud environment

Requirement:

• Vocational studies in mechanical, electrical or engineering
• HVAC license preferred
• Experience with electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical schematics
• Knowledge of mechanical repair and safety measures
• Experience with commercial building and facility maintenance
• Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written
• Must have good knowledge in computer skills such as Microsoft Excel and Word

While performing the duties of this job, you may be required to type for extended periods throughout the day and intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk, and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision, as well as, lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
