Overview: As the Facility Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and organizing the design of Company office/work spaces, to include the modification or construction of buildings and grounds. You will ensure Company adherence to all design standards and be responsible for the planning and procurement of all furniture. May assist with other real estate projects within the department as needed. Responsibilities:

Responsible for all space planning and allocation activities related to installations, renovations, expansions, and relocations of Company facilities. Work with internal stakeholders to test fit space allocations and building modifications. Responsible for overseeing assigned planning projects to include project scope, progress/schedule, execution, and completion. Responsible for developing and maintaining all corporate furniture, finishes, and space standards. Maintain library of existing floor plans and drawings and ensure ongoing accuracy by conducting field verifications and utilizing AutoCAD. Provide space planning and pre-design expertise by developing preliminary furniture layouts as needed. Work directly with internal stakeholders and external architects, engineers, general contractors, and furniture vendors to coordinate the development of furniture plans for new construction, renovations, and additions to existing buildings. Work with internal and external stakeholders in coordinating the installation of furniture and managing punch items. Manage the procurement of all furniture and track and coordinate all furniture related warranty claims. Support Company Project Managers with contract administration as needed. Responsible for developing and managing capital planning budgets.

Qualifications: For this role, 4 years of experience in real estate to include space planning/design, previous experience utilizing computer-aided facility management (CAFM) software, and a High School Diploma or GED is required. We prefer you have 5 years of experience in real estate to include space planning/design, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Design, Construction Management, or related field.
