Itinerant / Traveling Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Provider - Full time permanent positionSchedule: 10 days on, 4 days off. Will spend 10 days working in various village clinics.
2 openings: Eligible for sign on, relocation and retention bonus.
NP/PA - Ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in full spectrum family medicine (peds, women’s health, prenatal, family med), with a background in emergency and/or critical care as RN or APP, EMT, Paramedic, etc.
Will accept new grad PA/NP . Full time, permanent, can transition to regular Itinerant with experience and get pay increase. Ideal candidate will have a background in emergency and/or critical care as RN, EMT, Paramedic, etc.
Both positions require: DEA license, Alaska license by start date, be current on CME requirements
Job Summary: Provides regular “float” coverage to village clinics as assigned, providing primary (acute, chronic and preventive) health care and emergency care to those seeking health services at the village clinic. Work in the largest community on the Kuskokwim River which is the regional hub for many of the surrounding communities and native villages in the Yukon Kuskokwim Delta.
