Description:

We currently have openings for a full-time Family Program Coordinator to join our caring team of professionals. This is a full-time position working 40 hours a week. The selected candidate will work either a Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday schedule and rotating holidays.

Perks: We pay for EMDR/DBT certification and 5 professional development days after one year of employment!

Sign-on Bonus: $3,000

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Participates in the development, oversight, and maintenance of the campus program schedule.

Conduct individual, group, or family therapy sessions as appropriate for the treatment plan of the patient.

Provide initial treatment planning for patient based on assessment and coordinate any additional services needed and revise as necessary.

Observes group sessions of each EDS to ensure quality and adherence to the program.

Observes group sessions of each DBTS to ensure quality and adherence to program

Maintain documentation of therapy services provided to each patient according to facility and professional standards, revising as necessary.

Conducts and facilitates Trauma groups with residents.

Participate in treatment team meetings and collaborate with other staff to facilitate services for the patient as appropriate to their treatment plan.

May provide these services in an inpatient or outpatient setting.

Provide case management, discharge planning or after-care planning according to treatment plan.

May assist in educating and training staff on behavior management or therapeutic crisis intervention.

May coordinate various clinical, psychosocial or educational activities with patient and their families.

Establishes formal protocols and procedures for both initial and ongoing primary therapy assessments, care conferences and primary therapist coordination with referral sources

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Nursing or other recognized therapeutic field from an accredited college or university. Minimum of four plus years’ experience as a therapist with two or more years of experience with the specific population of the facility.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

State or national licensure for professional therapy providers required.

First Aid, CPR, de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
