The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting for a Behavioral Health Director (Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner) for a Community Health Center in Waterloo, IA. Candidate will need to have leadership experience and comfort with treating adolescents, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Behavioral Health Director will also provide clinical supervisor to a team of PMHNPs, LISWs, and CADC staff.

Practice Details:

• Clinic Hours: MTF 8:30am-5pm, WTH- 8:30am-8pm, Provider works one evening either Wednesday or Thursday and starts later in the day
• Patients: Varies- 60 minute visit for new patients, 40 minute visit for established patients, 20 minute visit for follow ups. Anywhere from 4-8 patients per 4-hour session
• Number of Exam Rooms: 1 per provider
• Current Staff: 5 Family Medicine Physicians, 5 Family Medicine Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, 2 PMHNPs, 1-2 RN/LPN
• Call: No call coverage
• Skills desired: Pediatric and Mental Health training /experience
• Position available: immediately
