Foodservice Equipment & Supplies Installation Specialist Full Time Position Springfield, Missouri

Job Summary:

The Equipment & Supplies Installation Specialist team installs commercial cooking equipment, custom stainless-steel fabrication, walk-in panel systems and furniture. We are looking for a professional, self-motivated, organized, and mechanical minded individual to add to our install/delivery team.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• 
  Accurately selecting and safely loading equipment on to delivery trucks
• Delivering and setting commercial kitchen equipment and custom kitchen stainless-steel fabrication
• Learn how to Install walk-ins from start to finish in a timely manner
• Willingness to learn basic electrical diagnostics.
• Communicating with customer or contractor during delivery or installation.
• Candidate must be able to work independently with little supervision, have acceptable oral communication skills and be able to read, write, perform mathematical calculations
• Adhering to scheduled install times at the shop or at customer worksites
• Customer service skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with others
• Keep work vehicle clean and perform a monthly inventory
• Collecting and handling money on COD deliveries
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications include:

• 
  Must be 18 years of age with the ability to work in varying outdoor temperatures and conditions.
• Have a good driving record, obtain class-E license, and pass a DOT physical exam.
• Able to operate standard material handling equipment safely and effectively.
• Candidate must be available to work with the demands of the job which is overtime and/or out of town installs, and weekends as needed.

  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
• The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
• In some areas, taste and smell are required.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color, vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 100 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Due to the nature of our business regarding such things as delivery schedules, overtime, attendance and punctuality are essential job functions.
