Required Skills and Abilities: Under the direction of the Field Director, the Field Manager will manage field databases and generate reports in a timely fashion. The candidate should have experience with canvassing, managing hourly staff, experience working in the nonprofit and/or campaign setting, demonstrated professionalism and tact in communications with a diversity of individuals. Strong organizational and time management skills, acute attention to detail and ability to work well with others on the campaign team. This position is based in Columbus Ohio.
Position Responsibilities: The Field Manager plays a key role on a talented and dedicated team that minimizes weaknesses, shares strengths and maintains high standards.
The Field Manager has:
● One to three years’ of direct field experience;
● Experience managing hourly staff
● Experience with Office operating systems, VAN, Excel, Google Docs and Google Chrome/Firefox.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to manage priorities and workflow.
● Strong interpersonal skills.
● Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
● Good judgment, with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
Position Duties:
● Assist with hiring, training and managing of statewide teams of canvassers, whom will be in out in the field
● Field spot checks and field audits for quality control of canvassing teams
● Hires, trains and manages office admins
● Oversees proper completion of HR paperwork under direction of the HR Director
● Management of supply orders for the offices
● Other duties as assigned

Position Details The Field Manager is a full-time salaried position. Benefits include health/dental insurance, vacation, and retirement match after one continuous year of employment. Prior to starting the position, the Field Manager must reside in Columbus Ohio, possess a cell phone, an Ohio driver’s license, and have access to a reliable insured automobile. Extensive in-state and some national travel is required. Weekend and evening hours will be required. Work-related expenses are reimbursed according to policy. Physical requirements include frequent standing, walking, ability to sit in meetings and lift moderate weight for supplies.
Salary This position offers a highly competitive salary, based on experience. Salary Range for this position will be $75,000 - $85,000.
