Oberlin Filter is looking for a dynamic individual with an extensive field service background looking to take their career to the next level as a manager. Our Field Service Manager is an in house customer facing role dedicated to assisting in sales and technical support of our product in the marketplace. The Field Service Manager also will plan, organize, and schedule field technician personnel.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop, establish and implement long range and short term strategies to achieve established departmental goals and objectives
  • Directly supervise the service department to ensure proper manufacturing principles and applications are followed.
  • Communicate directly with customers and all Oberlin staff to determine needs and applications relative to special installations and adaptations as required.
  • Determine service hours and trip costs to provide project estimates
  • Review all service reports for issues, discrepancies and budget to actual differences.
  • Communicate with production, engineering and sales regarding service department capabilities and schedules
  • Submit reports to Senior Management as to current status of projects
  • Provide technical customer service support via phone and email

A successful candidate will have:

  • Ability to work well independently
  • 18 years old or older
  • Valid US driver's license and US Passport
  • Ability to pass background checks and random drug screens
  • At least two years of experience in an electrical and mechanical background
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers and other employees
  • Prefer a candidate with a technical degree in a related mechanical or electrical field, but we will consider someone with a high school diploma and the right attitude and desire to learn

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Service technician: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Manufacturing management: 5 years (Preferred)
