Job Description: Field Service Technician - CT

The Field Service Technician responsibilities are to help company reach profitability goals by conducting service and repair work, maintaining company tools and equipment, maintaining company vehicle and warehouse space and providing customer service to internal and external customers. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:

• Conduct battery & charger service
• Conduct other equipment service
• Conduct Equipment Preventative Maintenance
• Maintain Inventory Control by documenting all parts used during service work

• Maintain company vehicle

• Maintain clean & safe work area

• Maintain clean warehouse as directed by Branch Manager when not in field
• Follow all Company Policies & Safety Guidelines
• Other duties as required
• Provide to Branch Manager

o Job paperwork per customer

o Daily inventory list of items removed from warehouse for use at customer

o Weekly starting inventory count on company vehicle

o Weekly ending inventory count for company vehicle

o Other work as required by Company

o Supply and tool requests as needed

Position Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 75lbs.

• Must have a valid Driver’s License.

• Must be able to keep a clean & safe work area.

• Must follow all Safety Instructions.

• Must be able to provide clear written communication.

Position reports to: Branch Manager

Job Type, Location and Work Schedule

• Full Time position

• Work area, company vehicle, and necessary equipment to conduct position Wallingford, CT location

• Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm

• 30 minute Lunch period 12-12:30.

• There will be overtime opportunities.

Compensation:

• Hourly Wage Paid Weekly o $17-$24 / hour @ 40 hours a week. Relative to experience.

• Sick Time

1. All full-time employees will be given 40 hours of paid sick leave to use as needed for each 12-month period from January 1 through December 31.

• Battery Shop of New England has 11 paid Holidays per year that are published annually in the “Holiday Pay Calendar”

• Health Insurance is offered with a 65% / 35 % split

Probation Period

BSNE maintains a 6-month evaluation period for all new hires

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
