As an Environmental Maintenance Supervisor you will be responsible for managing tasks and follow-ups as they relate to lead-based paint, asbestos, microbial growth and moisture damage across all maintenance departments. You will perform the oversight of Maintenance team members who specialize in environmental maintenance. This is a hands on Supervisor position and you will ensure the team members in the field complete related work orders in accordance with time and quality expectations.
In this position you will interface with our service member residents as well as their chain of command leaders to resolve any outstanding tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist and oversee process for containment, remediation and put-backs.
- Ensure required environmental training is current and work with team members and other parties to ensure compliance.
- Perform Quality Control checks for technician and subcontracted work to ensure time and quality expectations are met in the field of environmental compliance.
- Resolve resident complaints when necessary with excellent customer service.
- Schedules technician’s daily work load and track environmental work order progress.
- Maintains a close and highly responsive relationship to the day-to-day activities of the technicians, subcontractors, and residential service coordinators.
- Generates reports as required and maintain accurate filing system.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent is required.
- Prior knowledge of environmental containment, remediation and the put-back process.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills are a must.
- Computer Skills – Microsoft Office Suite; Yardi experience a plus.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
