WYN Consultants has multiple partner clients who are constantly in need of Service Technicians in the Tampa area. These clients are looking for self-motivated individuals who can work independently as well as with a team atmosphere and are willing to take the initiative to be a leader and looking for growth in a career. Please note these clients are looking for full time W-2, 1099, as well as Contract to hire roles and will cover numerous IT backgrounds.

You will be working with fast-paced companies in multiple environments. They all offer unique solutions to their clients addressing their specific needs today, while preparing them for tomorrow.

Service Technicians work directly with support teams and on-site at customer locations to ensure jobs are completed to the customer’s satisfaction. This position may be responsible for the management and completion of installations, low voltage cabling, equipment maintenance / installation, and leading team resources at customer locations. The positions will be based out of your local area with an expectation of as much as 70-95% travel as needed to support regional clients.

• Can efficiently use tools and have some basic construction skills
• Have a customer service focus and can interact with others professionally

• Are comfortable working where you utilize remote support
• Can complete various forms of cable terminations (RJ-45, Keystone, Coax, Etc.)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Service and installation of equipment at customer locations
• Ensure the job site operates to company and customer standards
• Effectively and professionally communicate / interact with customers
• Troubleshoot and diagnose managed network devices
• Repair, maintain, and install telecommunications IT infrastructure
• Managing helper technicians as needed for large jobs
• Display a professional presentation at customer sites

Qualifications, Experience and Education:

• Minimum High School Diploma/GED
• Experience with IT installations, field services, or similar backgrounds preferred
• Able to obtain certifications required for aerial lifts
• A Valid driver license and able to be insured
