NiteLines USA, Inc. is looking to fill the following role with the Department of Revenue Cash Management Unit

Finance Clerk ($16/hour) – 1 needed

Duties to include but not limited to:

• Collects, reconciles and post fees or revenues to appropriate accounts
• Compiles and prepares standard accounting reports
• Responds to inquiries to solve routine accounting problems
• Collects, distributes, and sorts mail incoming and outgoing mail
• Prepares bank deposit
• Reconciles accounts receivables
• Performs other duties as assigned

All candidates must submit a Tax Clearance Letter and complete a Tax Authorization Form to be considered.

How to obtain a copy of your Tax Clearance Letter (TCL). This checks for tax balances and delinquent periods under all accounts for the taxpayer. This letter will tell you whether you owe money to the state or federal government. If you owe, then you can ask to be put on a payment plan in order to still be considered for this position. If you are already on a payment plan, then you can be considered as well. If you do not owe, then it will be reflected on your TCL. To request your TCL, please go to https://gtc.dor.ga.gov. You will need to create a login (account type will be individual income tax for the majority of people) After logging in, under the I WANT TO menu, click SEE MORE LINKS. Click the REQUEST TAX CLEARANCE LETTER, Click the SUBMIT button and confirm by clicking YES. You will receive a confirmation number. I do not need this though. Your tax clearance letter will generate overnight and will be available to download when you log back in the next day. Please download that form and send it to me along with your resume.

• If you have not lived and filed in GA for the last 5 years then you can skip this step and call the DOR contact center 877-423-6711 and select option 3. They will be able to give you an alternate TCL than the one you would request online.
