This position will provide dedicated financial/program analyst support to manage, execute, and report data on Direct Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E), Operations and Maintenance, Army (OMA), and Reimbursable engineering programs for FM Operations Office in support of one of the three Mission Centers within Armaments Center. This individual shall monitor the execution of labor and non-labor costs, track program milestones, managing program under/over execution, set up work breakdown structures, report financial performance, track the execution of resources against budgeted program requirements, and perform other financial/accounting duties as assigned, such as quantitative and qualitative analysis of projects/programs assigned.

What will you be doing?*

This position will be a key member of the Financial Management team. Duties include:

  • Create and monitor Lines of Accounting used for travel
  • Coordinate Cross-organizational budgeting for travelers
  • Troubleshoot Travel System errors
  • Responsible for building, analyzing, and maintaining several financial projects.
  • Derive financial reports for analysis using multiple accounting systems
  • Review Budget Execution reports for errors and provide solution
  • Process multiple types of funding documents through various accounting systems

What skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?

This position will require the following skillsets and experience:

  • Must have 3-5 years' of relevant experience
  • Ability to use web-based applications for data entry and reporting
  • Ability to handle fast paced, multi-task environment and work independently
  • Good oral and written communication, interpersonal and relationship skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Excellent PC knowledge (MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint required)
  • Must be US Citizen and able to obtain a security clearance
  • UTRS has a COVID-19 vaccination status requirement.
