Eagle Health LLC is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst/SME I to join our team supporting Defense Health Agency in Aurora , CO. The Financial Financial Reporting Analyst/SME I is responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures, research and document accounting standards compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), and other regulatory and legal requirements.

The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00

The above salary range represents the company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition, for fulltime, benefit eligible positions we offer a variety of benefits including company holidays, paid time off, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life and disability insurance as well as 401K with company match.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Analyze and develop requirements for moderately complex to complex financial systems along with coordinating reporting, analysis and provide recommendations to the customer
  • Provide overall reporting application expertise and support application transitions; utilizestatistical analysis software and serves as the team lead for database software querying toolslike TOAD, legacy reporting software, business process improvement, optimization, ormaintenance
  • Must be able to interact with all levels of management within the organization•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills•Must be able to collaborate and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment•Ability to work independently while balancing multiple priorities
  • Strong Excel skills and experience working with business intelligence tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience with developing and presentingtopics to senior management•Self-motivated with minimal oversight
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education and/or Experience
Degree: Bachelor’s Degree or specialized field certifications in SCEA, CGFM, CPA, CISA or equivalent.

Experience: Eight (8) years of financial management, accounting, cost estimating, business processes improvement, accounting systems, or information technology applications, economics, or statistics.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Five years of experience and ability to analyze and develop requirements for moderately complex to complex financial systems along with coordinating analysis and recommendations with the customer.
  • Five years of experience with reporting application and applications transitions, statisticalanalysis software, database software querying tools like TOAD, legacy reporting software,optimization, or maintenance.
  • Proactive financial professional with a firm understanding of financial reporting and financialmodeling required, including balance sheets, and cash flow•Must be able to interact with all levels of management within the organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to collaborate and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to work independently while balancing multiple priorities
  • Strong SQL writing skills, Excel skills and experience working with Business Intelligence tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience with developing and presentingtopics to senior management
  • Self-motivated with minimal oversight•Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook•Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Actof 1986.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Sit or stand throughout a regular work day.
  • Able to work on computer for long periods.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per hour
