We have an exciting opportunity open for a Financial Reporting Analyst based near our Fort Smith, AR office or our Little Rock, AR location with the ability to work remote.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will be responsible for the financial and analytical reporting for both internal and external deliverables. This role will report to the Financial Reporting and Compliance Manager and will work closely with other groups including FP&A, Operations and Regulatory. The position will prepare, review and manage weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to submit to management and board as well as create and maintain report templates. The position will also manage the audit financials, assist with annual tax provision tie-outs and create additional financial analysis as requested.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and review monthly revenue and financial reporting in month-end close process
- Prepare and review monthly reporting of actuals to budgets to department managers
- Prepare and distribute weekly A/R and other Ad Hoc analysis
- Manage the reporting templates and mappings within databases
- Manage the annual audit reports and bank covenant reporting
- Assist with annual tax provision tie-outs
- Assist with regulatory related filings as needed
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's in accounting required
- At least 3 years of financial reporting experience required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills and meticulous analytical capability
- Strong competency in reporting and disclosure accounting standards
- Experience managing report mappings
- Experience creating reports using database queries
- Ability to manage multiple and competing deadlines
- Ability to work in a remote office environment
- Business partner mentality with ability to educate basic financial concepts to stakeholders
- Strong ability to take initiative and manage multiple projects successfully while maintaining an even-keel approach and commitment to deadlines
- Demonstrated success in consulting effectively with all levels of management including executives
- Ability to conduct and interpret quantitative/qualitative analysis with the proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts and data in an understandable manner to all levels of management and staff
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Oracle Smartview and PBCS preferred
