A leading University is seeking a Financial Transactions Coordinator. The successful candidate will coordinate, manage, submit and clear the financial expenses related to projects and school experiments. The ideal candidate works well with deadlines and thrives in a creative, fast-past environment.

Financial Transactions Coordinator Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $35/hr
  • Worksite: Leading University (Stanford, CA 94305)
  • W2 Employment, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
  • 10-15 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment, Possible conversion

Financial Transactions Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Program-related finance: process purchase card transactions for procurement, catering, contract services, rentals, and other expenses as associated with the school and projects and grants.
  • Process travel card transactions for Lab and the school team members’ work-related travel expenses.
  • Set up new suppliers in the system.
  • Process honoraria requests.
  • Pay vendors in a timely manner.
  • Create and track the payment of invoices.
  • Work with the school finance team to fully process and approve financial transactions in a timely manner.
  • Create deadlines and systems for team members to accurately describe and submit their expenses.
  • Clearly communicate updates and changes to our financial policies to team members.
  • Analyze financial reports and adjust the budget based on actuals.

Financial Transactions Coordinator Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience working with our event vendors and processes.
  • 1-2+ years of experience processing financial transactions in the Oracle system.
  • Organized (with organizational tools, like Excel).
  • Proficient communicator (email, Slack).
  • Strong general office skills and demonstrated skill in typical office applications: Google Drive.
  • Passion for details; exceptional organizational skills and follow-through.
  • Strong work ethic, collaborative approach to teamwork, and dependability are essential.
