Job description

Our Fixed Income technology team has a unique role for someone with an interest in the financial markets and the desire to build upon their analytical and technical skills. We are looking for a problem solver who will work directly with traders and developers to quickly assess, triage and resolve technical issues impacting our environment and business operations.
We don't follow a script; each day there is a new opportunity to solve a problem, assist a trader with questions about applications, help developers test out new features/fixes, or release a new version of an application.

In this role, you will

• Provide daily support of trading systems that are crucial to our business
• Work with traders, operations, and developers to research, diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
• Following through on reported issues and tracking them to resolution.
• Create tickets for issue tracking

What we're looking for

• Strong written, analytical, and research skills
• Familiarity with SQL a plus
• Must be a self-starter, a quick learner, an effective communicator, and resourceful in solving problems
• Familiarity with a trading environment and fixed income products preferred
• Visa sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position now or in the future
