Job Summary
The Fleet Manager is responsible for the overall operations of SLP's fleet, including managing the maintenance and repairs, purchasing, selling, and budgeting, as well as helping with the snow removal services during the winter months.
Essential Job Functions
- Handling the Registrations and Inspections for all necessary vehicles, trailers, and equipment annually
- Managing the Fleet GPS System and keeping it up to date
- Managing the Fleet Maintenance System and recording all repairs
- Managing and scheduling the Fleet Preventative Maintenance
- Communicating with Production staff on when vehicles/equipment need to be serviced
- Entering all new purchased equipment into the Fleet Maintenance Software and setting up schedules
- Managing Shop inventory for product and parts
- Managing the Repairs and Maintenance budget
- Taking accountability for 1-2 direct report mechanics
- Taking responsibility for diagnostic work on equipment
- Ensuring safety and cleanliness in the set up of the mechanic's shop
- Conducting repairs on equipment and trucks in shop and on site
- Performing snow removal duties and/or plowing
- Assisting in other duties as assigned that may or may not be directly related to the original position
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be available to work on average 40+ hours a week year-round
- Valid NH Driver's License and an acceptable driving record
- Capability to prioritize duties in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge of Account Management Systems (ASPIRE or similar) helpful but not required
- Good communication skills and a strong work ethic

- Annual salary of $65,000 - $85,000
