Choose from 38 trails and discover 2 mile long beginner cruisers and steep double black diamonds with 1100' of vertical drop. We describe it as "big mountain terrain and small mountain charm"

Ski Plattekill is looking for a Mechanic who is willing to work in a fast paced environment. Candidate shall be skilled in the craft of maintaining, diagnosing and repairing vehicles of varying types. Diesel & gas engines, small engine repair on snowmobiles, atv's, winter snow grooming equipment, etc.. (We will train on specialty machines)

As a fleet mechanic you should be able to perform basic equipment diagnosis for both electrical & mechanical and hydraulic issues. Troubleshoot and repair all standard electrical components, understanding and ability to diagnose and repair 12 and 24 volt electrical systems, detect minor equipment problems. Disassemble/reassemble equipment such as engines, cylinders, pumps, valves, etc. Repair/replace worn or defective parts. Preventive and predictive maintenance skills are a must.

Candidates are required to posses the proper tools to perform their assigned tasks, have a positive attitude and be a team player.

Candidates MUST have the ability to think outside the box and be able to work independently.

Hydraulic and hydrostatic experience is required.

Welding and fabrication experience is a PLUS.
