Fleet Report Specialist
Position Specifics:
Department: Service
Reports to: Operations Manager
Supervises: N/A
Hours: 40 hours weekly

Purpose:

Reporting specialists are required to gather information about their potential customers, business competitors, and economic conditions Reporting specialists are required to gather information about their potential customers, business competitors, and economic conditions. Collect, compile, analyze, and interpret technical and statistical data. Interpret and apply complex regulations, legislation, and guidelines. Analyze problems and make appropriate recommendations. Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities:
External Fleet Responsibilities:

  • Maintain current key account reports of all equipment, parts, and services available to customer accounts.
  • Update all fleet reports weekly to maintain visibility, such customer reporting and vehicle management.
  • Reports are to be updated with current information and sent weekly to management.
  • Utilize resources including technical support from the manufacture website to highlight account issues on a daily basis.

(Document findings and include with report).

  • Extract and input information as needed in support of fleet reporting including presentations.
  • Represent Eaheart Industrial Services professionally in all internal and external communications.
  • Communicates ideas and recommendations through verbal and written reports.
  • Organizes and presents verbal and written research/analytical reports.
  • Produces written documents with clearly organized thoughts and comprehends and makes inferences from written materials.
  • Other duties as assigned, such as: (answer phones, assist in research when needed).

Internal Fleet Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling regular maintenance and repairs on all vehicles
  • Maintain and update vehicle internal files
  • Maintain vehicle registration and taxes paid and up to date
  • Ensuring all fleet members have proper licensure and up-to-date training
  • Monitoring Drivers to ensure adherence to schedules and proper driving practices
  • Providing reports to management on budgeting, schedules, and fleet progress
  • Developing methods to decrease cost and improve efficiency
  • Develop and implement process for vehicle inspections (5-minute daily checks and weekly checks)
