Weeks Medical Center is seeking an experienced FNP for night time Hospitalist position
- Flexible scheduling options equaling +/- 40 hours
- EMR is Meditech Expanse
- Supported by a strong, collaborative team of MAs, RNs, LPNs, LNA Case Manager, etc
- 10 pts/day in MedSurg on average, <1 pt/day in ICU, 2% child/98% adult
- EKG interpretation, initial CXE interpretation, intubation, vent management
- ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association required.
- ED runs codes
- 3 ICU beds
- Additional support by House Coordinator, Case Management, and On-Call Staff
- Performs focused or comprehensive physical examinations as appropriate. Ensures patients are assigned the proper status within the hospital (e.g., treatment, observation, inpatient, ICF, SNF).
- Admissions: 2-5 new admits/consults per shift.
- ICU: 2 (daily census)
- Inpatient: 8-12 (daily visits or discharge): Observation, inpatient, and SNF/swing status.
- Patient mix: 90% adults, 10% peds. 85% Medicine, 14% Surgery, 1% Trauma
- EMR- Meditech Expanse 6.16, Dragon
- Total # of Beds: 25
