Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the planning, budgeting, and execution of catering and concession functions while maintaining the highest standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Hiring and Training of all Food & Beverages Servers, Cashiers and Bartenders.
  • Maintaining labor costs and budget goals.
  • Fulfilling the service per each Concession Event Orders (CEO) and Beverage requirements on all Banquet Event orders (BEO).
  • Maintains an active role in local hospitality community and professional associations.
  • Attend in-house event-related meetings and relays immediate changes with other departments.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Maintaining all Concession equipment cleanliness and annual maintenance.
  • Maintain a Health Department score of 90 or higher.
  • Must be creative in marketing, concession signage and sales displays.
  • Attention to detail and consistency in every aspect of service is a must
  • Position is very hands on with excessive interaction with staff and customers during events.
  • Ordering product and equipment and maintaining uniforms.
  • Inventory control
  • Beverage ordering and receiving.
  • Cash handling and Banquet checks.
  • Payroll
  • Supervises all hourly F&B Staff
  • Training of all Concessions and Banquet staff
  • Training and supervising of Interns
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • At least two years of management experience in concessions facility servicing concessions for large events.
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong orientation to customer service and ability to work with other staff members in the facility.
  • Results oriented individual with the ability to meet required budgetary goals.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks.
  • Computer skills to include Excel programs.
  • Serve-safe certified
  • Ability to be creative with marketing presentations and maintain a quality product.
  • Attention to detail and service oriented.

Education and/or Experience

  • College degree and/or equivalent work experience in a comparable facility or related field required.
  • At least 2 years of previous hospitality management experience in a fast paced, high volume environment required
  • At least two years of management experience in concessions facility servicing concessions for large events.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years Customer Service experience

Other Qualifications

  • Must be able to work extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Regular travel between building properties required.

Pay: $44,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
