The Role
Work as part of a team to prepare, cook, package, and ship goods. As part of this team, you will operate machinery, follow food safety and quality protocols, complete paperwork for operations and quality. Additional details below. Our production teams operate on two shifts – most positions available are on a weekend shift (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6am to 6:30pm).

Packaging Department

• Receives processed product, performs quality checks, and boxes into cartons for shipping.
• Tape cases and uses a hand jack to move pallets of finished goods to the warehouse for shipping.
• Operates machines to transport properly weighted pouched products to cartons.

Job Requirements:

• High School degree or equivalent preferred
• Experience working in a production environment, ideally with food or involving mechanical equipment is preferred
• Pays attention and strives to meet quality standards efficiently
• Strong work ethic and reliable
• Team player, building trusting relationships with team members

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to sit, stand or walk for prolonged periods of time
• Regularly bend and lift up to 60 lbs. and/or 25 lbs. repeatedly
• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Regularly required to talk and hear
• Regularly required to visually observe objects up close and at a distance
• Regularly requires hands to handle or feel and finger dexterity
• Ability to work in 38° Fahrenheit temperature and wet environment
• Regularly required to move heavy racking on rollers containing upwards of 1,000 pounds of product out of warm ovens, on and off scales and into cold chillers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
