JOB TASKS & DUTIES
- Secret clearance required
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in the Counterintelligence, Insider Threat, Personnel Security field is preferred
- Primary Approver for SEC for official OCONUS travel for all USAGM personnel in E2
- Maintains database of foreign travel for official and personal foreign travel
- Reviews Briefing Acknowledgement Forms and de-brief forms and flags potential issues for Insider Threat/CI when appropriate
- Sends general briefing materials to travelers and ensures that all briefing and de-briefing requirements are fulfilled by travelers. Flags non-compliant travelers to Insider Threat for follow up.
- Primary eCC manager for agency. This would be a new component where the incumbent would submit eCC requests on behalf of all travelers on official travel (both COM and non-COM). This will ensure agency compliance and reduce the administrative burden for travelers. Travelers will still be responsible for updating their own profiles in eCC, but this individual would take information from the traveler to submit eCC requests.
- Liaise with embassy staff when special arrangements or requirements exist
- Ensures travelers under COM authority are compliant with training requirements and will assist travelers with getting training scheduled with OWSD if non-compliant
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must possess strong oral and written communication skills
- Must have strong report writing skills
- Must be comfortable presenting to senior leadership or large audiences
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision
- Must be organized
