Leads crew of hourly workers on a project site and manages safety, planning, production and performance of directed construction tasks.
  • Performs onsite coordination of labor activities, materials and equipment. Requests materials needed for scope of work.
  • Supports safety procedures and regulations for assigned personnel and sub-contractors.
  • Understands daily production schedule and adjusts work to meet schedule and cost parameters.
  • Maintains knowledge of Company’s values and strategic plan.
  • Performs additional assignments per management’s direction.
Civil/Roadway Duties:
  • Plans, assigns, schedules, supervises the work of laborers, concrete carpenters, and equipment operators engaged in the construction, reconstruction, and maintenance of streets, driveways, and parking lots; including grading, excavation, basing, and patching.
  • Read specifications, blueprints, sketches, building plans, and form drawings to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required
  • Work with project superintendent to meet or exceed daily production goals through planning and productivity of workforce
  • Foster a positive working relationship with sub-contractors and their personnel.
Dirt/Structure Duties:
  • Lead earthworks/heavy equipment crew to the successful completion of daily tasks and ultimately, quality projects
  • Work with project superintendent to meet or exceed daily production goals through planning and productivity of workforce
  • Foster a positive working relationship with sub-contractors and their personnel.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience with project construction tools and equipment safety.
