Position Summary:
Now hiring Forklift Operators for sit down lift and Order Picker.
Paid on the job training, light lifting, consistent hours, and a fantastic company culture!
Pay Rate:
Earn 17.00$/hour on Day Shift
Earn 18.00$/hour on Swing Shift
Schedule:
Day Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm
Swing shift: 3:30pm-12:00am
Essential Job Functions:
- Operate forklift to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into trucks or throughout the warehouse.
- Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the warehouse
- Loading and unloading goods from delivery trucks
- Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the warehouse
- Stacking goods in the correct shipping bays, following inventory control instructions
- Checking loads are secure
- Stacking empty pallets
- Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment
- Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines
- Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly sitting on a powered industrial truck
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time
- Good sense of balance
- Good eye-hand-foot coordination
- Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights
Education/License Requirements:
Highschool Completion / GED or equivalent
General Experience Requirements:
Supply chain and logistics experience preferred
