Forklift Operator

Mira Loma Distribution Center

THE CHALLENGE

In the role of Forklift Operator at our Mira Loma Distribution Center, your primary responsibility is to perform warehouse/ distribution center tasks and duties while utilizing company equipment on a daily basis.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Operate company equipment withing various warehouse functions, including Shipping, Receiving, Loading, Unloading, Processing, Stocking, Restocking, Sorting, etc.
• Inspect and count product from containers, pick locations, and other areas throughout the warehouse
• Prepare and load shipments boxes, pallets, and merchandise to be sent to customers
• Assists all departments and staff by placing the merchandise in the proper locations throughout the warehouse using a RF scanner
• Demonstrate progression and sustained performance levels that meet the respective departments Labor Management System (LMS) metrics

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Current Forklift Operator Certificate or other required license to operate assigned equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven distribution center
• Ability to work in both a cold or hot work environment
• Able to lift, push, pull, grasp, and hold up to 50 pounds
• General warehouse /distribution center knowledge or experience a plus

Base Hourly Range: $18.50 - $20.00 Per Hour

The indicated pay range is what Boardriders reasonably expects to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions will be determined based on a variety of considerations such as work location, work experience, industry experience, education, seniority, responsibility level, or similar factors.
