Job description
The Case Management Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of the foster care case management unit and leads the staff to ensure outcomes (permanency goals and service delivery metrics). This person is a member of the Agency’s Senior Management Team.
Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Responsible for direct supervision of 6-10 Foster Care Case Managers. Primary responsibilities include monitoring service delivery to assure compliance through the Missouri Alliance for Permanency Partnership Foster Care Case Management contract, case managers with Missouri’s Child Welfare Manual, FCCM contract, Practice Updates and ECH’s COA standards. This includes monitoring Case Managers timeliness of paperwork, reports, client related appointments, and data entry.
· Responsible to facilitate team meetings, on a weekly/bimonthly schedule and effectively communicate both external and internal information to the team. Actively participate in quarterly Standards and Practices meeting in which key performance indicators and outcomes are measured and evaluated for performance improvement. Responsible to attend both internal and external meetings and be able to communicate information from these meetings.
· Provide scheduled, weekly supervision with Case Managers that is documented. Using supervision to assess permanency goals, services needed to move toward those permanency goals, ongoing discussion of case progress and barriers. Additionally, using this time to help develop Case Managers knowledge of job duties, community resources, ideas for overcoming barriers and how to best support the Case Manager’s role.
· Complete initial, and closing, case assignment activities and related data entry, participate in on-call duties and responsibilities, monitor, and evaluate case managers performance of job duties, monitor monthly compliance reports and budgets, review and sign all required reports for both internal and external sources.
· Responsible for clear, timely and professional communication with all internal and external customers. This includes FCCM contract holder MAPP, Children’s Division Oversight Staff, families and other professional entities and partners within the community.
· Responsible to attend, and successfully complete, all required internal and external trainings. Work with Supervisor to develop professional development plan and attend additional trainings as possible or required.

Education and/or Experience
Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related field; or a bachelor’s degree in one of these areas and willing to pursue a Master’s degree in one of these areas.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Other Qualifications
Preferred, minimum of one-year supervisory experience and three years of experience in the human services field.
