JOB SUMMARY

  • Lead and direct property general managers, and manage the operations of the Residence Inn, Prescott, to exceed business operation expectations.
  • Motivate, develop, and teach your management team members to help them grow professionally.
  • Demonstrate strong decision-making and problem-solving skills while working on multiple tasks in often high-stress situations.
  • Regularly communicate your regional branches' performance to senior management.
  • Build and develop professional working relationships with other leaders and support staff.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain strong customer service skills in the areas of handling disputes and treating customers with care.
  • Responsible for the staffing, profit, performance, and other operations metrics at each branch.
  • Communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally with dignity and respect.
  • Demonstrate proactive instead of reactive leadership skills to achieve company objectives.
  • Conduct talent reviews of staff to determine their growth interests and potential.
  • Personally, and through delegation to others, solve problems, especially in situations of high stress
  • Develop a strong knowledge of company policy, goals, and standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Two years of experience managing two or more properties.
  • A strong understanding of, and experience with, property management methods and tools including RevPAR Index goals, ranking and budget goals, property management systems, and creating and following budgets.
  • Business management skills including math skills to track the region's profit, organizational skills to manage large amounts of information, ability to generate a variety of reports, and presentation skills to display regional performance.
  • Knowledge of computer programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
