Very busy and fast paced family eye clinic with 5 optometrists on staff looking for an exceptional team player to join us as a full-time Front Desk Coordinator. With our diverse patient base, the ability to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds is of primary importance. You will be joining a dynamic team of front desk coordinators whose job it is to help create a welcoming and efficiently run environment for our patients.

Our offices are open Monday through Saturday, and we are looking for a candidate who would be working most Saturdays. We have locations in both Seattle and Factoria and are looking for a detail oriented and energetic person who will work primarily in our Seattle location. An exceptional candidate would be able to work in both offices.

Qualifications:

-Friendly and customer-service oriented, great with patients of all ages

-Excellent attention to detail

-Ability to multi-task

-Works exceptionally well with others

-Able to work well under pressure

-Computer literate

-Strong problem-solving skills

Desired, but not required:

-Paraoptometric/medical office experience or knowledge

-Experience with Crystal or other practice management software

-Bilingual, particularly with Spanish, Mandarin or Cantonese

Primary duties include answering phones, data entry, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance benefits, patient registration and other clerical tasks.

Additional duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-Maintain, organize and respond to all correspondence, communication and/or verbal inquiries from all relevant parties.

-Faxing/scanning
