DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
· Trains, cross-trains, and retrains all front office staff
· Responsible for hiring and coaching of all front desk positions
· Creates weekly schedules based on budget/occupancy
· Evaluates and provides annual job evaluations for all front office staff
· Maintains working relationships and communicates with all departments
· Maintains master key control (guest and associate keys)
· Resolves guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously
· Reviews and completes credit limit report and notifies all guest with payment discrepancies
· Conducts regularly scheduled meetings of front office staff
· Monitors and enforces all hotel policies with front office staff
· Maximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing status daily. Analyze rate variance, monitor credit report and maintain close observation of daily house count
· Monitor high balance guests to ensure payment clearance
· Maintain full knowledge of all three front office shifts with a thorough understanding of audit and inventory functions
· Ensure proper balance between front office systems daily.
· Ensure all front office staff is trained on all brand standards including rewards program.
· Oversee all voucher and amenity logs and ensure compliance by all front office staff.
Requirements:
· Read, write and speak fluent English.
· Team Player.
· Strong knowledge of property management system
· Knowledge in revenue management
· Previous Full Service Marriott experience
· Hospitality degree preferred
· Knowledgeable of hotel and services provided
· Must be organized and able to handle multiple tasks. Must have excellent communication skills.
· Proven record of stable employment.
· Ability to memorize guest requests
· Customer service experience.
· 2+ years in full service front office supervisory/manager role.
· Willingness to work varied shifts including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
