We are in search of a Bilingual Spanish Medical Assistant for busy Family Practice to perform front and back office duties.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday 9:00AM-6:00PM

Experience:

• Medical Assistant: 1 year (Preferred)
• Will to train the right candidate including a recent graduate
• Certified Medical Assistant: 1 year (Preferred)
• You’re a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• You have a Phlebotomy certificate. (Preferred)
• You’re Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers (AHA) or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (American Red Cross) certified.

Travel Between Offices:

• Never

Administrative Duties:

• Scheduling
• Insurance verification
• Answering phones

Clinical Duties:

• Room patients and obtain vital signs
• Obtain and update patient medical history and medication list with accuracy
• Prep exam rooms
• Perform blood pressure checks, blood draws, injections, and other medical tasks as requested by the provider and manager.
• Assist provider in procedures
• Provide clinical staff with completed documents for data entry into patient records.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients and use all safety precautions appropriately.
• Stock all exam rooms
• Perform duties related to medical instrument cleaning and sterilization
• Other duties as assigned

Spanish speaker preferred.
