Front Desk Supervisor
The Homewood Suites Chesterfield, MO is searching for an upbeat and guest focused leader to provide exceptional service to our loyal guests and to support our amazing team members! Requirements:
  • A positive upbeat demeanor
  • Front Desk Supervisory experience
  • Must be available from 3 pm to 11 pm 5 days a week (Days of the week may Vary)
  • Must be available to work Weekends
  • Must have Excellent guest service skills
  • Must act and look the part by setting a professional, positive example at all times
  • Must have the ability to make it happen by being perceptive, finding a way to say ‘yes’ and taking ownership
  • Having Hilton Experience a BIG PLUS!
  • Must speak fluent English, other languages a plus.
  • Must be able to pass criminal and driving background check
  • Must have valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to obtain a State Liquor License, CPR Certificate, and Food Handlers License (Hotel will cover all costs) to conduct the Evening Managers Reception (Held Every Wednesday)

Responsibilities
  • Manage Hotel Operations between the hours of 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
  • Assist in all Hotel operations as needed
  • Attend Weekly Managers Social with guest.
  • Address all guest concerns on property and by answering guest service surveys
  • Ensure staff is properly trained and has the tools and equipment to carry out job duties.
  • Ensure staff is properly trained on systems, security and cash handling procedures, and service and quality standards.
  • Complete Front Desk operations checklist—Reviewing Arrivals, Departures, Billing, Direct Billing, 3rd party reservations and Extended Stay accounts.
  • Check billing instructions and guest credit for compliance with hotel credit policy and ensure all transactions are handled in a secure manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. Will serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) on a regular basis.
  • Work closely with Front Desk, Kitchen Team, Maintenance and Housekeeping to ensure guest requests are resolved
  • Checking Guest in, processing payment and assigning rooms.
  • Ensure front office staff provides guests with prompt service, professional attention and personal recognition.
  • Ensure guests are greeted upon arrival and make time to interact effectively with guests. Respond appropriately to guest complaints, solicit feedback and build relationships to drive continuous improvement in guest satisfaction.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the front office, guest rooms (as needed), and public areas and take immediate actions to correct any deficiencies.
Accountability:
  • Reports directly to the General Manager.
