Job description

We are looking for front of house team members for our bar & grill. This full-time or part-time, seasonal position at the restaurant located at Spring Creek Recreation Area, is a 5-month posting starting at the end of April. We are a scratch-kitchen/bar, making as much as possible in-house, and the successful candidate will employ its experience, to play a critical role in maintaining a quality product and enhancing our customers’ satisfaction. In addition to base pay, employees participate in tip-sharing.

Responsibilities

• Receive and welcome guests as the first point of contact.
• Take food and beverage orders and collect payment through the POS system.
• Provide and pour beverages, as needed. Keep beverage coolers stocked.
• Take food orders from the kitchen window to the table.
• Clearing table once guests have completed their meals.
• Working as a team to care for guests and perform daily/weekly/monthly front of house sidework.

Skills

• Experience in the position through serving or customer service experience.
• Excellent verbal communication and multi-tasking skills.
• Great interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Ability to remain composed, particularly during stressful or uncomfortable circumstances.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Willingness to perform additional duties to facilitate the restaurant's operations, as needed.
• Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
