Job Description: Front Office Receptionist (Sharon/New Castle Offices)
Job Title: Front Office Receptionist
General Responsibilities: The Front Office Receptionist performs all front office duties listed in the job description of that role. Including, but not limited to:
· Create customer-friendly environment
· Miscellaneous clerical and administrative duties as requested
· Maintain supplies of all forms and office material
· Fill postage machine
· Order and restock supplies
· Maintain reception triage and document tanks
· Fax
· Copy charts and shot records to be transferred
· Scan documents and route to patient charts
· Maintain waiting room, magazine and toys for generally tidy appearance
· Mail letters (no show, recall) to patients
· Collect on patient account balances
· Advise nurse of any vaccines that arrive as soon as possible
· Answer phones, referring calls to physicians or triage nurses as needed
· Schedule appointments
· Register patients in computer
· Verify demographics, insurance, HIPAA, and portal access
Specific duties and responsibilities may include:
· Training new hires and performing evaluations
· Monitoring inventory for office and break room supplies
· Support other team member with various administrative tasks
· Maintain personal SMART goals and oversee the SMART goals of front office team for completion.
Reports to: Practice Administrator
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
